Prefab Sprout

Prefab Sprout ist eine britische Band, die 1977 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England gegründet wurde. Sie bestand aus dem Sänger und Liedtexter Paddy McAloon, dessen Bruder, dem Gitarristen Martin McAloon, und der Sängerin Wendy Smith. Früher war auch der Schlagzeuger Neil Conti Mitglied der Band. Seit 1992 ist Paddy McAloon streng genommen das einzige Mitglied.
