Ramoth-Gilead (assyrisch Gal'aza, heute Tell er-Rumeith) ist eine in der Bibel erwähnte Ortschaft, deren Überreste sich im heutigen Jordanien befinden.

Im Deuteronomium (Dtn 4,43 EU) und im Buch Josua (Jos 20,8 EU) wird Ramoth-Gilead als Asylstadt des Stammes Gad genannt, in der Menschen, die einen Andern ohne Vorsatz getötet hatten, der Blutrache entkommen konnten.

In Ramoth-Gilead fand nach 2. Könige 8,28–29 EU und 9,14–15 EU ca. 900 v. Chr. eine Schlacht zwischen Hasael, dem König von Aram und Joram von Israel statt, die mit der Niederlage Jorams endete. Ramoth-Gilead wurde dem Reich von Aram eingegliedert.

733 v. Chr. nahm Tiglat-Pileser III. die Stadt ein.
