Shen Yun Performing Arts

Shen Yun Performing Arts, früher auch Divine Performing Arts, ist eine Bühnenkunst und Unterhaltungsfirma mit Sitz in New York City.[1] Shen Yun Performing Arts zeigt klassischen chinesischen Tanz, Volkstanz und Ausdruckstanz.

Gegründet im Jahr 2006, steht das Shen Yun-Ensemble im Zusammenhang mit Falun Gong.[2] Regelmäßig in den Wochen um das chinesische Neujahr geht das Shen Yun-Ensemble mit einer Gala auf Welttournee. Die Galas wurden wegen ihrer Schönheit und darstellerischen Perfektion vom Broadway-Kritiker Richard Connema gepriesen.[3] Zeitungen wie der Guardian und andere kritisierten an den Galas, dass sie Falun Gong verbreiteten, ohne dies genügend zu verdeutlichen. Unter den Besuchern der Galas von Shen Yun Performing Arts befinden sich viele Gäste aus der High-Society, welche die Galas überwiegend sehr positiv bewerten. [7] [8][9] [10]

Auch sind die Galas wegen der gezeigten hohen moralischen und ethischen Werte, insbesondere bezüglich der Themen Menschenrechte und Minderheiten in Festlandchina, in den westlichen Ländern auch von offizieller Seite sehr willkommen. [11]
