Dr. Abraham Sinkov

Dr. Abraham Sinkov (* 1907 in Philadelphia; † 1998) war ein US-amerikanischer Mathematik-Professor und Kryptologe.

Abraham Sinkov, Sohn russischer Emigranten, wurde Anfang 1930 Mitarbeiter des Signals Intelligence Service (SIS), einer Militärabteilung, welche sich zunächst mit der Entschlüsselung ausländischer und feindlicher Nachrichten beschäftigte, in Folge des 2. Weltkrieges dann auch mit der Verschlüsselung eigener Nachrichten.
