Splint-Boots sind „Schoner“ für die Beine von Pferden.

Splint-Boots werden besonders im Westernreitsport verwendet, damit die Pferde bei Übungen wie z. B. Sliding Stops (das Pferd bremst abrupt mit den Hinterbeinen aus vollem Galopp ab) keine Verletzungen erleiden und die Beine bei dieser außerordentlichen Beanspruchung gestützt werden. Splint-Boots können aus robustem Kunststoff oder Leder gefertigt sein. Innen sollten sie weich ausgepolstert und außen mit einem flexiblen „Glattlederlöffel“ versehen sein.
