St. John’s Beacon ist der Name des Fernsehturms in Liverpool. Er ist 133 Meter hoch und wurde im Jahr 1965 gebaut. Nahe der Spitze des Turms befand sich ein rotierendes Restaurant und darüber eine Aussichtsplattform.

Das Restaurant hörte auf zu rotieren, als die Hauptlager blockierten. Das Restaurant und die Aussichtsplattform wurden nach einem Brand des zu seinem Füßen gelegenen Einkaufszentrums 1977 geschlossen, da der Aufzug Schaden nahm.

Seit 2001 wurden die Räumlichkeiten von Aussichtsplattform und Restaurantbereich kombiniert, um Platz für den Hörfunksender Radio City zu schaffen. Der Bereich kann auch als Veranstaltungsraum gemietet werden.

Die Spitze des Turms ist nun mit Antennen und Werbung versehen.
