TV Digital (in der Schreibweise des Verlags TV DIGITAL) ist eine Programmzeitschrift mit 14-täglicher Erscheinungsweise. Die Erstausgabe erschien am 26. März 2004. Im 3. Quartal 2011 wurden laut IVW 3/2011 1.821.909 Exemplare verkauft, die Reichweite betrug laut ma 2010 3,4 Millionen Leser. Somit ist TV Digital, nach der Niedrigpreis-Programmzeitschrift tv14, auf Platz zwei nach Verkaufszahlen. Herausgegeben wird die Zeitschrift von der Axel Springer AG.

Konzept

Der Programmteil hat folgendes Schema: Auf einer Doppelseite werden die Spielfilm-Highlights sowie die Highlights aus den Bereichen Sport, Serie, Show, Doku & Info sowie Kinder vorgestellt. Danach folgen auf je zwei Doppelseiten die frei empfangbaren Sender und auf drei Doppelseiten die Pay-TV-Sender. Ein Filmplaner A-Z auf vier Doppelseiten am Ende des Listings informiert über die Sendertermine aller Spielfilme im Programmzeitraum.

Der Leseteil besteht im vorderen Segment aus Reportagen, Interviews und Berichten aus dem TV-Bereich. Dazu werden Technik-Trends vorgestellt und der Testbericht eines neuen Autos präsentiert. Im hinteren Segment – nach dem Programmteil – findet sich der Entertainment-Guide mit Rezensionen zu allen neuen Kinofilme und DVD-/Blu-ray-Starts. Die Filmbewertung erfolgt über vier Smileys in verschiedenen Farben und Gesichtsausdrücken.

Der Preis der Zeitschrift liegt aktuell bei 1,75 Euro (in Deutschland erscheinende Ausgaben) bzw. 1,90 Euro (Österreich-Ausgabe).

Wissenswertes

Die Programmzeitschrift TV Guide wird von derselben Redaktion betreut und versteht sich als Ableger von TV Digital. In TV Digital wird mit dem Slogan "Zweiter Fernseher, zweite Programmzeitschrift!", für TV Guide geworben.
