That'll Flat Git It!
Kompilationsalbum von Verschiedene Interpreten Veröffentlichung 1994 - 2008 Label Bear Family Records Format CD Genre Rockabilly Anzahl der Titel 32 (Anzahl Ausgaben) That'll Flat Git It! ist eine der erfolgreichsten CD-Reihen des deutschen Labels Bear Family Records. Die insgesamt 27 Tonträger umfassende Serie befasst sich thematisch mit Rockabilly. Auf jeder CD sind daher ca. 30 Titel eines legendären Plattenlabel der 1950er-Jahre enthalten. Die erste CD erschien am 26. Juni 1994 mit dem Thema Rockabilly from the Vaults of RCA, es wurden daher ausschließlich Stücke aus dem Katalog der RCA Records verwendet.
Die Aufmachung dieser CD-Serie war mit großem Aufwand verbunden. Für die Zusammenstellung der einzelnen CDs wurde Bill Millar verpflichtet, einem Rockabillyhistoriker der 1970er- und 1980er-Jahre, und alle Begleithefte wurden von Collin Escott geschrieben, ebenfalls ein renommierter Musikhistoriker. Bear Family stellte laut eigener Aussage über unbekannte Musiker selbst Nachforschungen an, um den Käufern im Booklet Informationen präsentieren zu können, sodass es für fast jeden Künstler eine mehr oder weniger ausführliche Biographie gab. Der Titel der Reihe lehnt sich an dem Erkennungsspruch des ersten Rockabilly-DJs Dewey Phillips an, der „That'll Flat Git It!“ zu Beginn jeder seiner Radiosendungen rief.
Mittlerweile hat sich die Reihe zu einem Standard unter Rockabilly-Sammlern entwickelt.
