Das Tolkien Estate ist eine eingetragene Körperschaft, die die Rechte an den Werken von J. R. R. Tolkien innehat. Derzeit wird das Tolkien Estate von J. R. R. Tolkiens Sohn Christopher Tolkien, dessen Frau Ballie Tolkien und einem Neffen Michael Tolkien geleitet.

Das Tolkien Estate verfügt jedoch nicht über die Film- und Merchandise-Rechte an Der Herr der Ringe und Der kleine Hobbit, da J. R. R. Tolkien jene bereits zu Lebzeiten veräußert hatte. Jene Rechte werden von Middle-earth Enterprises vertreten.
