Torch ist eine schwedische Hard-Rock-Band, die in den frühen 80ern zwei Alben und zwei EPs veröffentlichte und sich danach wieder auflöste. Ihre Musik war für 1982 relativ kraftvoll und rau, hatte aber dennoch eingängige Melodien. Die Band kam im Jahr 2003 wieder zusammen und absolvierte 2005 auf dem deutschen Keep-It-True-Festival ihren ersten Live-Auftritt seit langer Zeit. Danach folgten weitere Konzerte, die Band will nach eigenen Angaben auch in Zukunft live in Erscheinung treten.
