Joan Barfoot (* 1946 in Owen Sound, Kanada) ist eine kanadische Journalistin und Autorin.

Sie hat seit ihrer Schulzeit als Journalistin für kanadische Zeitungen gearbeitet und lebt heute als freie Schriftstellerin und Journalistin in London, Ontario. Sie studierte englische Literatur.
