Trinkat

Trinket, auch Trinkat, war bis 2004 eine 86 km² große Insel, die zu den Nikobaren im Indischen Ozean gehört. Laut indischer Volkszählung im Jahr 2001 lebten auf der Insel 436 Menschen.

Sie ist bei dem schweren Seebeben im Indischen Ozean 2004 und der darauffolgenden Flut (Tsunami) in zwei Teile zerbrochen.
