Typical Cats

Die Typical Cats sind eine Hip Hop Crew aus Chicago, der ehemaligen Hauptstadt des Jazz. Der optimale Nährboden für die drei MCs Denizen Kane, Qwel, Qwazaar, ihren DJ/Produzenten DJ Natural und den weniger musikalisch aktiven Kid Knish. Die Gruppe ist bei dem Independent Label Galapagos 4, dass für innovativen und abstrakten Hip Hop in der Underground-Szene bekannt ist, unter Vertrag. Die Crew wurde durch die Wednesday Night Rap Show bei dem Radio Sender WHPK 88.5 FM bekannt, welche durch die endlosen Freestyle-Sessions der MC's geprägt war. Seitdem gehen die Musiker ungetrennte Wege und präsentieren den True School Hip Hop der heutigen Zeit.
