Tōtō

Das 1917 als Tōyō Tōki (東洋陶器) gegründete japanische Unternehmen Toto K.K. (TOTO株式会社, Tōtō kabushiki-gaisha; engl. TOTO Limited) ist Japans größter Hersteller von Toiletten und ist im Nikkei 225 gelistet. Das Unternehmen stellt unter anderem Badewannen, Toiletten, Waschbecken und Pissoirs her. Es hat weiterhin das Washlet entwickelt und populär gemacht. Verschiedene Washlets werden in Europa über die Firma Balena/Geberit vertrieben.

Toto hat für sein Europa Debüt auf der ISH im März 2009 den WC Sitz Hersteller Pagette gekauft und mit einigen europ. Designern Sanitärkollektionen in der europäischen Geschmacksvariante hergestellt.

Toto hat einen Jahresumsatz von ca. 5 Mrd. Umsatz.[1]
