William Sprague (1609–1675)

William Sprague (* Oktober 1609 in Upwey, Dorsetshire, England; † 26. Oktober 1675) war ein amerikanischer Siedler aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Er verließ England auf der Lyon's Whelp (Schiff) in Richtung Plymouth/Salem, Massachusetts. Zusammen mit seinen beiden Brüdern, Ralph und Richard, half er mit die Stadt Charleston, Massachusetts zu gründen. Andere Mitglieder der Familie waren Soldaten im Amerikanischen Unabhängigkeitskrieg und zwei von ihnen waren Gouverneure des Bundesstaates Rhode Island. William war mit Millicent Eames verheiratet und das Paar hatte elf gemeinsame Kinder.

Lucille Ball und ihr Brunder, Fred Ball, waren direkte Nachkommen.
