ACRISS

ACRISS ist ein Akronym und steht für Association of Car Rental Industry System Standard. Die ACRISS ist ein Zusammenschluss von Autovermietungen, welche sich auf einen vierstelligen Fahrzeugklassencode geeinigt haben, um einen Vergleich zu erleichtern. Siehe auch Mietwagenklassifizierung.

Zusammensetzung des Fahrzeugschlüssels

Der Fahrzeugschlüssel wird aus vier Buchstaben zusammengesetzt. Hierbei steht der erste Buchstabe für die Kategorie, der zweite für die Fahrzeugart, der dritte für die Antriebsart und der vierte für das Vorhandensein einer Klimaanlage.

Allgemein betrachtet steht eine Bezeichnung „ABCD“ steht also für ein Kraftfahrzeug der Klasse A, des Typs B, der Schaltung C und der Klimatisierung D.
