Bibury, ist ein Dorf im Bezirk Gloucestershire in England. Es gilt als besonders typisches Dorf der Cotswolds.

Der Künstler und Schriftsteller William Morris nannte Bibury „the most beautiful village in England“ (dt.: Das allerschönste Dorf in England). Die honigfarbenen Steinhäuser aus dem 17. Jahrhundert waren die Behausung von Webern, die die benachbarte Arlington Mill mit Stoff versorgten.

Sehenswertes

  • Arlington Mill. Diese ehemalige Mühle beherbergt heute ein Folklore - und Landwirtschaftsmuseum. Ein Zimmer des Gebäudes ist dem Schriftsteller William Morris gewidmet.
  • Eine weitere Attraktion in Bibury ist eine Forellenzucht aus dem Jahr 1902. Jährlich werden 10 Millionen Regenbogenforellen gezogen.

Das kleine Flüsschen Coln fließt durch den Ort neben der Hauptstraße.
