Bridge Capital

Bridge Capital ist ein Begriff aus dem Bereich des außerbörslichen Beteiligungskapitals und damit der Unternehmensfinanzierung. Im engeren Sinn handelt es sich hierbei um Eigen- oder Fremdkapital, das einem Unternehmen unmittelbar vor einem Börsengang zur Verfügung gestellt wird, und so diesen erleichtert oder erst möglich macht.

Das Bridge Capital wird von spezialisierten Gesellschaften oder auch Banken zur Verfügung gestellt. Dies geschieht womöglich syndiziert, d.h. dass dann die Kapitalspritze von mehreren Gebern getragen wird.

Nach dem Börsengang und dem damit verbundenen Mittelzufluss wird das Bridge Capital meist abgelöst.
