Die British Darts Organisation (BDO) ist ein im Jahr 1973 gegründeter Darts-Verband.
Die Turniere der British Darts Organisation werden in Großbritannien oft über die BBC, in den Niederlanden über SBS6 ausgestrahlt. Die BDO ist zusammen mit etwa 60 anderen Verbänden Mitglied der World Darts Federation (WDF, gegründet 1976). Von einer Gruppe Berufssportler abgesehen, verwaltet die BDO alle britischen Dartspieler. Seit 1978 richtet die BDO Weltmeisterschaften aus, seit 2001 auch für Frauen.
1992 spaltete sich unter dem Einfluss von Sky Television die Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) von der BDO ab, deren Turniere in den Niederlanden vorrangig vom Fernsehsender RTL 5 übertragen werden.
Durch den Wechsel vieler bekannter Dartspieler von der BDO zur PDC hat die PDC im internationalen Dartsport mittlerweile einen größeren Stellenwert als die BDO erlangt.
