Bê ist eine brasilianisch-deutsche Band aus São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro und Konstanz.

Die Gruppe wird den Stilrichtungen Pop, Weltmusik, Bossa Nova, Lounge und Jazz zugerechnet. Der Name bezieht sich übrigens auf den brasilianischen Spitznamen der Sängerin.

Geschichte

Gegründet wurde Bê von Betina Ignacio (Gesang/Komposition), Luiz Brasil (Gitarre/Komposition/Arrangement), und Markus Schmidt (Schlagzeug/Perkussion/Komposition). Sie trafen sich im Jahr 2006 beim Jazz Festival in Montreux und beschlossen daraufhin, ein erstes gemeinsames Album aufzunehmen.
