Affogato al caffè (außerhalb Italiens auch als Espresso Affogato bezeichnet) ist ein Dessert aus der italienischen Küche.

Eine Kugel Vanilleeis wird in eine kleine Tasse oder ein kleines Glas gegeben und mit heißem Espresso übergossen. Die Eiskugel ertrinkt (Italienisch affogare [1]) im Espresso. Affogato wird mit einem kleinen Löffel gegessen. Es werden auch Varianten mit Haselnusseis, Kakaopulver, Sahne oder flüssiger Schokolade serviert.
