al-Ghaida (auch Al-Ghaydah, al-Gayz̨ah; arabisch ‏الغيضة‎, DMG al-Ġaiḍa) ist die Hauptstadt des Gouvernements al-Mahra im Südosten des Jemen und größte Stadt entlang der Küstenlinie Ghubbat al-Qamar.

Unweit der Stadt liegt die Grabstätte Qabr Qayul (Abd Allah Gharib). In deren Nähe wiederum trifft man auf alte Baumbestände.[1]

al-Ghaida verfügt über einen nationalen Flughafen. Als Stadt für den Grenzverkehr (insbesondere Oman) wird sie zumeist als Übernachtungsort von Touristen gewählt.
