CIS Insurance Cup

Der Scottish League Cup ist ein Fußballwettbewerb, der unter den Teilnehmern der Scottish Football League und Scottish Premier League ausgetragen wird. Der Wettbewerb wurde zuerst 1947 ausgetragen, Glasgow Rangers gewann das erste Finale gegen den FC Aberdeen. Sollte ein Duell nach 90 Minuten plus einer Verlängerung keinen Sieger finden, wird das Spiel im Elfmeterschießen entschieden. Aufgrund des aktuellen Sponsors, der Versicherung CIS, wird der Ligapokal aktuell auch CIS Insurance Cup oder kurz CIS Cup genannt.
