Das COMPASS-Experiment am CERN in Genf untersucht die Spinstruktur des Protons durch tiefinelastische Myon-Proton-Streuung. Insbesondere werden die Spinbeiträge der Quarks und Gluonen untersucht, ebenso wie die Beiträge durch deren Bahndrehimpulse.
