Die Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association (BORDA) ist eine internationale Non-Profit-Organisation der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit mit Sitz in Bremen.

BORDA hat Regionalbüros in Indien, Indonesien und Vietnam. Das Engagement von BORDA begann 1977 mit dem Projekt „Technology Transfer of Biogas India-Ethiopia“. Die Organisation arbeitet vor allem im Bereich der „basic needs services“ in Entwicklungsländern und führt Projekte hauptsächlich in Afrika und Südostasien durch. Spezialgebiet sind sanitäre Anlagen (bis 2009: 750 von denen rund 250.000 Menschen profitieren) sowie dezentrale Abwasserbehandlung (mit Biogasanlage), Abfallmanagement, Energie- und Wasserversorgung. Die Anlagen versuchen sie ständig noch simpler zu gestalten, damit geschulte lokale Kräfte sie unterhalten und warten können.[1]

BORDA ist die Organisation für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit des Landes Bremen.
