Commonwealth Development Corporation

Die Commonwealth Development Corporation, jetzt CDC Group, (ehemals Colonial Development Corporation) ist eine Organisation für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit im Vereinigten Königreich.[1]

Sie wurde in der Nachkriegszeit von der Regierung Clement Attlee gegründet.[2] Im Juli 2004 wurde eine Plattform für Emerging-Markets-Private-Equity-Investment als Actis Capital aus der CDC ausgegliedert.

CDC blieb weiterhin Sponsor von Actis Investitionstätigkeit; so wurden 650 Millionen US-Dollar an dem dritten Fond der Firma überlassen.[3]
