Comment ça va

Comment ça va ist ein Popsong der niederländischen Boygroup The Shorts. Das Stück wurde vom niederländischen Komponisten Eddy de Heer geschrieben und im Februar 1983 bei EMI veröffentlicht. Im selben Jahr erschien dort auch ein Album gleichen Namens.

Das Lied erzählt die Lage eines niederländischen Jungen, der in Paris ein französisches Mädchen kennenlernt. Es ergibt sich aus der Geschichte nichts, da die beiden sich nicht verständigen können. Das Stück ist halb auf Niederländisch, halb auf Französisch gesungen.

Die Single verkaufte sich vier Millionen mal in verschiedenen Sprachversionen[1], erreichte in mehreren europäischen Ländern die Top Ten und in den Niederlanden Platz eins der Charts[2].
