Die Continental Engineering Company war ein US-amerikanisches Unternehmen zur Entwicklung von Motoren und Automobilen vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg.
Die Firma ging aus der Continental Engine Manufacturing Company in Minneapolis (Minnesota) hervor, die 1914 ein Automobil entworfen hatte und es unter dem Markennamen Continental vermarktete. Dessen Herstellung erfolgte bei der Dispatch Motor Company in Minneapolis. Der Continental wurde nur wenige Monate lang gebaut.
Eine Restrukturierung und eine Kapitalspritze von 1 Mio. US$ führten zur Namensänderung auf Continental Engineering Company und zur Verlegung des Firmendomizils nach Chicago (Illinois). Hier wurde 1914-1915 ein anderes, selber entwickeltes Automobil gebaut und unter dem Markennamen Ceco vertrieben.
