Cape Byron ist der östlichste Punkt des australischen Festlandes und liegt in der Nähe des Badeortes Byron Bay, New South Wales. Vom Leuchtturm und von verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten aus hat man einen guten Blick über das Meer und die Buchten von Byron Bay. Cape Byron wird zwischen Juli und November regelmäßig von Buckelwalen passiert und ist deshalb ein bekanntes Ziel für die Walbeobachtung.
