Dogs ist ein deutsches Lifestyle-Magazin für Hundefreunde aus dem Verlag Gruner + Jahr, welches zweimonatlich erscheint.

Inhalt

Dogs beschäftigt sich mit der Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Hund und berichtet aus den Bereichen Psychologie, Gesundheit, Recht, Kunst und Kultur und bietet Geschichten aus der Welt der Hunde. Ferner will Dogs aufklären und zu einer besseren Verständigung zwischen Mensch und Hund beitragen.[1]

Entstehung

Dogs gewann Anfang 2006 die Redaktionelle Ideen-Olympiade (RIO), ein interner Wettbewerb des Verlags.[2][1] Das Magazin startete zunächst mit drei Ausgaben, bis entschieden wurde, dass es regelmäßig erscheint.

Auszeichnungen

2008 kam Dogs den LeadAward als „Newcomermagazin des Jahres“.[3]
