Dorjana Širola

Dorjana Širola: Dorjana Širola (* 9. Juni 1972) ist eine kroatische Quiz-Spielerin, Linguistin und Anglizistin. Sie war bei der offiziellen Quizweltmeisterschaft sechs Jahre in Folge, 2005 bis 2010 die best platzierte Frau weltweit, mit einem herausragenden 6. Platz im Jahr 2005. Darüber hinaus gewann sie einige renommierte Quiz-Wettbewerbe in Großbritannien, unter anderem die University Challenge (UC) quiz 2002 als Angehörige der Universität Oxford^[1]. Sie wird als die derzeit beste weibliche Profi-Quizspielerin der Welt angesehen.

Sie erhielt ihren B.A. an der Universität Zagreb im Jahr 1996, ihren Master of Philosophy erlangte sie an der Universität Cambridge 1998 und ihren Dr. of Philosophy 2005 an der Universität Oxford.
