Die CNH Global N. V. ist ein Unternehmen mit Sitz in Amsterdam, Niederlande. CNH Global ist der zweitgrößte Produzent von Landmaschinen weltweit (nach John Deere) und ist die Nummer drei in der Baumaschinenbranche. Die Firma beschäftigt rund 25.300 Arbeiter und hat einen Jahresumsatz (2006) von 12,1 Milliarden US-Dollar. CNH Global gehört zu rund 90% dem italienischen Fiat-Konzern. FIAT formte CNH aus der Case und New Holland zur Case New Holland (CNH).

Geschichte

CNH ging aus der Fusion von Case Corporation und New Holland 1999 hervor, im Zuge der Zusammenlegung von Unternehmen die FIAT gehören. Im Zuge dieser Fusion musste die Marke McCormick und das Werk in Doncaster an die ARGO-Gruppe verkauft werden. Ebenso musste die Marke Versatile verkauft werden. Unter dem Dach von CNH sind viele ehemalige Landmaschinenhersteller zusammengefasst: Braud, Case, Claeys, Fiat, Flexicoil, Ford, International Harvester, New Holland, O&K, Steyr und Andere.
