Jamahiriya News Agency

Die Jamahiriya News Agency (JANA) ist die staatliche, libysche Nachrichtenagentur.[1] Sie wurde 1964 gegründet und bekam 1970, nach der Machtergreifung Muammar al-Gaddafis, den heutigen Namen und eine neue Richtung.

Die Agentur hat 300 Mitarbeiter und Büros in London, Rom, Paris, Valetta, Tunis, Kairo, Rabat und Damaskus.
