Die KLS Martin Group ist ein Medizintechnik-Unternehmen in Tuttlingen.

Struktur

Im Jahr 2004 formierte sich die Unternehmensgruppe KLS Martin aus der Firma Gebrüder Martin und ihren Gesellschaftern Karl Leibinger Medizintechnik, KLS Martin, Rudolf Buck sowie Stuckenbrock Medizintechnik. In den Vereinigten Staaten sind die Partnerunternehmen KLS Martin USA und Orthosurgical Implants Inc. aktiv.

KLS Martin produziert seit 2002 wieder nur in Deutschland. Das Unternehmen ist heute Marktführer bei Operationsbeleuchtungen und Instrumenten für die Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie.

KLS Martin erwirtschaftet 170 Millionen Euro Umsatz im Jahr, 80 Prozent davon mit Exporten, und investiert jährlich 10 Prozent des Jahresumsatzes in Forschung und Entwicklung. Der Schnitt der deutschen Industrie liegt unter 4 Prozent.[1]

Geschichte

Das Geschäftsmodell der KLS Martin Group wurde 1923 von Rudolf Buck, dem Geschäftsführer der Instrumentenmanufaktur Gebrüder Martin, gegründet.
