Walter Karig

Walter Karig (* 13. November 1898 in Alexandria (Virginia), USA; † 30. September 1956 in Bethesda (Maryland), USA) war ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller, der zugleich Offizier der US-Navy war. Karig schrieb eine Reihe Bücher über Militärgeschichte und Ereignisse des Zweiten Weltkrieges. Er arbeitete auch als Journalist. Er war einer jener Autoren, die das Pseudonym Carolyn Keene verwendeten. Berühmt wurde sein von William Castle 1962 verfilmter Roman “Zotz!” (1947).[1] Karig war mit zahlreichen Autoren seiner Zeit darunter Earl Brewster befreundet.[2]
