Der Kawaikini ist die höchste Erhebung der Insel Kauaʻi im Archipel von Hawaiʻi. Er stellt den Gipfel eines einstigen Vulkans dar und erreicht eine Höhe von 1598 m über dem Meer. Die Westhänge von Kawaikini und des benachbarten Waiʻaleʻale, des zweithöchsten Berg Kauaʻis, zählen mit durchschnittlich 10.700 mm pro Jahr zu den niederschlagsreichsten Gebieten der Erde.[1]
