Ku tang

Ku tang

Ku Tang ist ein früher in China als Spielzeug verwendetes Blasidiophon.

Das Effektinstrument besteht ähnlich einer Karaffe aus einer Glaskugel mit Mundröhrchen. Zum Musizieren wird der Hals des Instrumentes vom Spieler in den Mund genommen und durch Ein- und Ausatmen ein knatternder Ton erzeugt. Dieser entsteht dadurch, dass der sehr dünne Boden in Schwingung versetzt wird. Das Instrument war in der Provinz Shandong beliebt.
