Firmengeschichte

Die Firma wurde im Jahre 1980 gegründet, Firmensitz ist Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Im Jahr 1998 führte MOTU mit dem 2408 das erste professionelle, und dabei erschwingliche Harddisk-Recording-System ein.
Heute bietet MOTU eine breite Auswahl an Harddisk-Recording-Systemen, PCI-Systemen, FireWire-Systemen und MIDI-Interfaces an.

MOTU war der weltweit erste Hersteller von FireWire Audio-Interfaces für Mac und Windows.

2007 wurde die Modellpalette um Video-Interfaces erweitert.
