Chavakacheri (Tamil: சாவகச்சேரி) ist die zweitgrößte Stadt im sri-lankischen Distrikt Jaffna. Während des Bürgerkriegs ist die Stadt sehr in Mitleidenschaft gezogen worden. Die Stadt wurde zwar von den Einwohnern wieder aufgebaut, dennoch ist die Bevölkerungszahl drastisch gesunken.
