Norma Farber First Book Award

Der Norma Farber First Book Award wird seit 1994 jährlich von der Poetry Society of America (PSA) vergeben "for a first book of original poetry written by an American and published in either a hard or soft cover in a standard edition during the calendar year".[1]

Der Lyrikpreis wurde gestiftet von der Familie und dem Freundeskreis der Lyrikerin Norma Farber. Ein Exemplar der mit dem Preis prämierten Bücher werden an die PSA-Fördermitglieder verschickt. Die Auszeichnung ist mit $500 Preisgeld dotiert.[1]
