Phase V

Phase V war eine 1993 gegründete Hip-Hop-Gruppe aus Braunschweig. Mitglieder der Band waren Alexander Preik (Sprechgesang), Marc Fehse (Bass), Martin Rischer (Gitarre), Jens Nagel (Samples und Keyboards) und Gregor Pabst (Schlagzeug).

Die Band produzierte insgesamt drei Alben mit deutschem Rap im Crossover-Stil. Besonders das erste Album Mentale Verwandlung erhielt 1994 positive Pressestimmen. Während einer Deutschland-Tour des Wu-Tang Clan, spielte Phase V als Vorband. Nach dem mäßigen Erfolg des letzten Albums, konzentrierten sich die Bandmitglieder auf eigene Projekte.
