RMG International

RMG International (Recordable Media Group) ist ein niederländisches Unternehmen mit Sitz in Oosterhout und weltweit führend im Magnetbandsektor. Die Produkte umfassen Audio- und Videobänder, die früher Emtec Magnetics hergestellt hat.

Geschichte

Nach der Insolvenz von EMTEC Magnetics im Jahre 2003 hatte sich das neugegründete Unternehmen dazu entschlossen, die Produktionsanlagen, Patente und das Fachwissen von EMTEC aufzukaufen und damit in Oosterhout die komplette Produktpalette weiterzuproduzieren.[1] Die Anlage nahm 2004 ihren Betrieb auf und ist nach der Insolvenz des amerikanischen Magnetbandherstellers Quantegy im Jahre 2007[2] der größte Magnetbandhersteller auf der Welt.
