Der Regius Chair of Clinical Surgery ist ein Lehrstuhl für Chirurgie an der Universität Edinburgh. Er wurde 1802 eingerichtet und von König Georg III. (und damit eine königliche Professur, Regius Professur).

- James Syme (1799-1870), Regius Professor ab 1833, Schüler und danach Rivale von Robert Liston. Er behielt die Professur bis auf wenige Monate 1847 am University College London.
- Joseph Lister, ab 1869. Er war der Schwiegersohn von Syme und ab 1854 dessen House Surgeon. Ab 1860 war er zuvor schon Regius Professor in Glasgow.
- Thomas Annandale (1838-1907), Regius Professor ab 1877, davor House Surgeon und Assistent von Syme.
- Francis Mitchell Caird (1853-1926), Regius Professor ab 1908, Schüler von Lister.
- Harold Stiles (1908-1946), Regius Professor ab 1919
- John Fraser (Chirurg) (1885-1947), Regius Professor ab 1927
- James Learmonth, Regius Professor ab 1946 (er war zuvor schon vier Jahre Regius Professor in Aberdeen)
