Die Chlotrudis Society for Independent Film wurde 1995 gegründet und ist eine US-amerikanische Organisation für Independentfilme mit Sitz in Boston. Der Name setzt sich aus den Namen der beiden Katzen des Gründers zusammen, nämlich Chloë und Gertrudis. Die Gesellschaft hat sich der Aufgabe verschrieben Independentfilme und ausländische Filme zu unterstützen und zu honorieren. Dafür werden seit 1995 auch die Chlotrudis Awards verliehen. Präsident ist derzeit Michael Colford.
