Shannon Ashley "Shay" Mitchell (* 10. April 1987 in Toronto, Ontario, Kanada) ist eine kanadische Schauspielerin und Model.

Leben

Shay Mitchell wurde am 10. April 1987 in Toronto, Ontario als Tochter eines irisch-schottischen Vaters und einer philippinischen Mutter geboren. Mitchell hat als Model in Bangkok, Hongkong und Barcelona gearbeitet. Anschließend kehrte sie nach Toronto zurück, um Schauspiel zu studieren. Sie erhielt Rollen in den Fernsehserien Degrassi: The Next Generation und Rookie Blue; zudem wurde Mitchell für mehrere Werbespots gebucht. Zur Zeit spielt sie die Rolle der Emily Fields in der US-amerikanischen Fernsehserie Pretty Little Liars.[1] Für diese Rolle gewann sie 2010 den Famous Teen Award in der Kategorie Favorite Summer Supporting TV Actress.
