Die Sikkim Democratic Front ist die größte und die derzeitige Regierungspartei im indischen Bundesstaat Sikkim. Derzeitiger Parteivorsitzender und Chief Minister ist Pawan Kumar Chamling. Die Partei regiert den Bundesstaat seit 1994 und hat ihre Mehrheit im lokalen Parlament in den Wahlen 1999, 2004 und 2009 noch ausbauen können. Bei der Wahl zum Regionalparlament am 30. April 2009 gewann die Sikkim Democratic Front alle 32 Sitze (100%)[2]. Bei den gleichzeitig stattfindenden gesamtindischen Wahlen zur Lok Sabha gewann sie auch (wie auch bei den drei vorangegangenen Wahlen) mit einer Mehrheit von 63,3% den einen Sitz, den Sikkim im indischen Parlament hat.
