Tambo (Queensland)

Tambo ist eine kleine Stadt in Queensland, Australien, am Barcoo River. Tambo liegt etwa 100 km südöstlich von Blackall am Landsborough Highway. Tambo hat etwa 350 Einwohner und wurde 1863 als erste Stadt in West-Queensland gegründet. Heute sind Viehhaltung und Tourismus die wichtigsten Einnahmequellen. Bekannt ist die Stadt für die Herstellung der Tambo-Teddys.
