The Maniacs

The Maniacs ist eine britische Punk-Band aus Cambridge. Die Band wurde von Sänger und Gitarrist Alan Lee Shaw und Schlagzeuger Rod Latter als Duo 1976 gegründet, später zogen sie nach London. Als Bassist stieß Robert Crash hinzu, daraufhin unterzeichneten sie einen Vertrag bei EMI. Sie veröffentlichten nur vier Lieder in ihrer einjährigen Bandgeschichte, unter anderem auf dem Sampler Die deutsche Punkinvasion.
