Vonavona ist eine Insel des New-Georgia-Archipels in der Western-Provinz des Inselrepublik der Salomonen. Sie wird auch Parara-Island genannt und ist nahezu vollkommen bewaldet. An der Nordwestküste befindet sich eine Siedlung. Vor der Südspitze der Insel befindet sich ein mit Skull-Island bezeichnetes Inselchen.
