Die White Horse Tavern, gelegen an der Kreuzung von Hudson Street und 11th Street im Greenwich Village, war in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren ein Künstlerlokal in Manhattan (New York City).

Neben Chumley’s ist die White Horse Tavern eines der wenigen Künstlerlokale aus dieser Zeit, das die Gentrifizierung des Greenwich Village zumindest physisch überlebt hat. Die White Horse Tavern wurde 1880 eröffnet und war für Jahrzehnte ein Lokal für Hafenarbeiter. Das änderte sich ab Anfang der 1950er Jahre, als Dylan Thomas und andere Schriftsteller und Künstler die Taverne für sich entdeckten.

Am bekanntesten ist die White Horse Tavern vermutlich dafür, dass sich Dylan Thomas hier zu Tode trank. Andere bekannte Stammgäste in den 1950er und 60er Jahren waren die Clancy Brothers, Bob Dylan, Norman Mailer, James Baldwin, Seymour Krim, Richard Fariña, Jane Jacobs, Jack Kerouac und Hunter S. Thompson. Heute wird das Lokal vor allem von Touristen besucht.
